A Veterans Day Tribute From WolfeCo Media

At WolfeCo Media, service is more than a core value. It’s part of who we are. It shapes how we show up for our clients, our communities, and one another.

This Veterans Day, we take a moment to honor those who represent the highest level of service — the men and women who protect our freedom. Over the past few weeks, a few of our team members reflected on the veterans who have made a lasting impact on their lives and careers.

Senior Storyteller, Nate Pittman, shared memories of his grandfather, a medical airman who served at multiple U.S. Air Force bases. As a child, Nate was fascinated by his grandfather’s stories about both the Air Force and the history that shaped our nation.

“When I was a kid, it was really cool to hear my grandpa tell me stories about his experiences and the history of how America came to be as free as it is today.”

Creative Strategist, Hannah Forsythe, highlighted her father, Retired Major Peter Forsythe, a United States Marine Corps officer. Growing up in a family filled with veterans, Hannah shared how her dad’s lifelong commitment to service has influenced her own path.

“Watching my dad dedicate decades to defending our freedoms has been one of my greatest inspirations. He taught me that service is not about recognition. It’s about purpose.”

Interactive Designer, Nathan Kostencki, spoke about his grandfather’s time serving our nation. Nathan credits his grandfather’s perseverance and quiet strength with shaping his approach to life’s challenges.

“My grandpa’s iron grit will and passion to be a better person inspired that in my own life.”

Founder and CEO, Josh Wolfe, reflected on two family members who left a lasting impression on him: his grandfather, a World War II veteran who served in the 101st Airborne, and his cousin, Rob Wolfe, who he describes as both a role model and a big brother.

“I never got to meet my grandfather though his legend as a paratrooper lives large in my family. My cousin spent a lot of time in the Middle East and could speak, read, and write Arabic. Talk about an impressive guy.”

To all of America’s heroes, past and present, thank you for your courage, sacrifice, and unwavering service. We honor you today and every day.
